- Combination of different examination methods for
- A fast statement about possible health risks
- Answering questions about the ability to reproduce detected pathogens
- Development of comprehensive concept:
- Strategy for sampling (sampling of buildings with different utilizations, particularly those with hygiene deficiency)
- Cooperation with operators of affected buildings and the responsible health authority
- Evaluation of the hygienic situation
- Classification of harmful germs on the level of species as well as alive/dead discrimination
- Evaluation and relation of the results from different methods
- Minimization of health risks and prevention of an overreaction
- Selection of decontaminations- and renovation-methods as well as their success control
- Handling of risks in case of a renovation
- Technical realization of fast analytical methods for detection, classification and analysis of activity for hygienically relevant microorganisms by:
- Miniaturized (chip based) and parallel molecular biological methods
- Raman-spectroscopy
